In using this website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern Art Forty-Two’s relationship with you in relation to this website.

The term 'Art Forty-Two’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is P.O. Box 58741, Seattle WA 98138. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.

Sharing Your Contact Information

You own all of the content and information you post on Art Forty-Two, and you can control how your personal information is shared to other members on the website through your profile page. You can choose to make your personal contact information: last name, street address, city, and e-mail confidential. When you sign up to participate in projects hosted by Art Forty-Two or by other members you are agreeing to provide your contact information to that member or the site for the sole purpose of participating in, completing, mailing the project in which you signed up.

You retain the copyright to any art work you link to or upload to galleries on Art Forty-Two. We are not liable for any use of that artwork by other members of the community without your consent. When you participate in any Art Forty-Two site-hosted swap or contest, you are consenting to allow Art Forty-Two the right to use and reproduce your artwork on our site and in any site collateral to promote the community. This could include electronic or print collateral. We will not put your work on any for-sale products with out obtaining additional consent.

Safety

We work to make Art Forty-Two a safe, fun, collaborative environment but we can not guarantee it. We need your help to do it which includes the following member commitments:

You will not send or otherwise post unauthorized commercial communications to users (such as spam).
You will not collect users' information, or otherwise access Art Forty-Two, using automated means (such as harvesting bots, robots, spiders, or scrapers).
You will not upload viruses or other malicious code.
You will not solicit login information or access an account belonging to someone else.
You will not bully, intimidate, or harass any user.
You will not post content that is hateful, threatening, pornographic, or that contains nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence.
You will not use Art Forty-Two do anything unlawful, misleading, malicious, or discriminatory.
You will not facilitate or encourage any violations of this Statement.

Account Security

Art Forty-Two users provide their real names and contact information in order to participate in site projects. We need your help to make sure this information stays accurate to keep the site fun and collaborative. Here are some commitments relating to registering and maintaining the security of your account:

You will not provide any false personal information on Art Forty-Two or create an account for anyone other than yourself without permission.
You will not use Art Forty-Two if you are under 13.
You will keep your contact information accurate and up-to-date.
You will not share your password, let anyone else access your account, or do anything else that might jeopardize the security of your account. Art Forty-Two will never ask you to give us your password. Should you receive such a request do not provide your password.
You will not transfer your account to anyone without first getting our written permission.

Art Forty-Two respects other people's rights, and expect our members to do the same.

You will not post content or take any action on Art Forty-Two that infringes someone else's rights or otherwise violates the law.
We can remove any content you post on Art Forty-Two if we believe that it violates this Statement.
